G.O.L.F.

"Marriage is like playing GOLF..." mother of the bride shares to the crowd.

"Quite a candor speech!" I said to myself.  I'm not quite into weddings but this one celebration makes me have the urge to attend every wedding invitation I got.

Honestly, the event happened last October 2011 but I just post this blog about it, now.  I almost forgot for I have already written a plenty of blogs and then piled up in the box waiting to encode and post.  As usual I used paper and pen when I write.

Anyway, back to the speech about G.O.L.F.,  the mother of the bride is quite cheerful in talking about marriage to the newly wed couple.  A very wholesome speech that's quite true.  Truthfully I haven't been married but what makes me learn about marriage is the people I'm around with.  I'm very single.  The thing is I was quite surrounded with couples of different lifestyles and beliefs, even traditions/ culture lived by themselves.  And true enough in the speech,  I learned a lot in the event.  I have learned so much about values as well as secrets in staying a successful and happy marriage.

In the speech GOLF is actually an acronym of: G-GOD; O- OPEN COMMUNICATION; L-LOVE; & F- FAITHFULNESS.  And here's all about the word:

G- God

Marriage should be centered with the relationship of our Almighty Father.  God is quite important person in the life of married couples.  Matrimony is a sacrament.

O- Open communication

In marriage, communication is another important thing.  Relationship is a two way process.  there's a need to have open communication in order to have a better understanding with each other as well as create a harmonious environment at home.

L- Love

LOVE is what completes in a marriage.  It is a lifetime commitment.  LOVE, just like a tree that blossoms into a flower at first then bears fruits to enjoy eternally.  It is something you do unconditionally without any expectations in return.  It is not only sacrificing to each other but to the unity in a relationship.

F- Faithfulness

That in marriage should only be your chosen partner and nothing but only him/her in the eternal life as both have promised in the presence of God in church.  Marital love and fidelity are designed to be preserved, not to be lost.
The wedding party celebration was such a joyous one!  A fun and learning experience.  Hoping for more invitations soon as well as hoping for my dream wedding soon.

How To Be Romantic In 10 ways

Life has taught us that love
does not consist in gazing at each other
but in looking outward together in the same direction.

Saint-Exupery

Celebrating on Valentine's day or any special occasion, these are some ways to be romantic to your partner.

1.  Express your feelings through singing heartily.
2.  While stargazing at night, name the constellations you see in the sky together.
3.  Cuddle on your sofa or bed together and read an interesting book you both love; or watch a movie you both interested; or talk about your dreams & future plans.
4.  Have a tickle fight.
5.  Cook a four course meal together.
6.  Take a shower together.
7.  Watch sunrise.
8.  Solve a puzzle together.
9.  Brush each other's hair.
10.  Give each other a shoulder massage.

SENTOSA, SINGAPORE

SENTOSA SINGAPORE as they say is "the Asia's favourite playground" is my upcoming travel in a few months from now.  Of course I'm quite excited for its my very first time to travel away from Philippines, my beloved country, my home.  If not for writing blogs I wouldn't go that far.  Travelling is among the many interests I have in my life.  I'd like to be educated from travel experiences as well as widen my perspective in life.

Actually it was not said by my tour director but I have a hunch of the place since SENTOSA SINGAPORE is one of the interesting places of the country.  Tour director is the term I use to refer to my brother since he gave me these things(as shown in the picture) to get familiarize with the place as well as maximize my time enjoying SINGAPORE on the said date.  It’ll be a great travel experience then.  Good luck to me!  =)

OF FRIENDS & FRIENDSHIP

"Friends like you are hard to find."  What a beautiful message to receive these days.  Like a child who needs a playmate, does anyone also needs a friend.  You may ask what's the difference of the two.
When you say playmate, he/she is the person who can go with you along many games,  but when you say friend, he/she is the one person who has principles same like you.  As I have learned reading the bible, in the book of Proverbs chapter seventeen verse seventeen that says "Friends always show their love.  What are relatives for if not to share trouble?"

Truth is: As one grows up, one needs friends who (a) have good conduct (b)commendable principles (c)good influence.

Now, the question is how can one find a friend who has these things mentioned.  Let us go about each of these mentioned above.

GOOD CONDUCT:  Not all can be a true friend.  As mentioned in the book of Proverbs chapter eighteen verse twenty-four that says, "  Some friendships do not last, but some friends are more loyal than brothers."  Perhaps you have encountered a person who just used you for any reason, or perhaps who betrayed you.  Truthfully that does broke your trust you gave.  ALWAYS  REMEMBER that what is important is not how many do you have friends but how good are they to you or to your loved ones.  Try to open the bible and read the book of Galatians chapter five verses twenty two and twenty three of which that says,"  But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self control.  There is no law against such things as these" ; and ask yourself, "Does my friends show " the fruit of Spirit?"

COMMENDABLE PRINCIPLES:  If you really are searching for a friend, might be you would just choose anybody out there.  The bible says, "Keep company with the wise and you will become wise.  if you make friends with the stupid people, you will be ruined." (PROVERBS 13:20)  Instead of making friends with anybody out there, be someone who carefully chooses someone to call friend at all times, choose not the fair weather friends.  Choose someone who we can distinguish what is right from wrong, who serves the Lord Jesus Christ.

GOOD INFLUENCE:  The bible says "Do not be fooled.  "Bad companions ruin your good character."  Don't friend those persons who use bribery for you to follow their lifestyles.  Maybe you can say it could be one reason why you have less friends or nothing at all.  But the thing here is  it can lighten up your load where you can find a good and true friend who is of good influence.
